Gervasoni in Tokyo

Stefano Gervasoni’s Antiterra for ensemble will have its first Japanese performance on 24th August in Tokyo, Suntory Hall. On 29th August, always at Suntory Hall, is foreseen the world premiere of Reconnaissance for large orchestra.

Stefano GervasoniStefano Gervasoni’s Antiterra for ensemble will have its first Japanese performance on 24th August in Tokyo, Suntory Hall, in the frame of Suntory Music Foundation’s Summer Festival 2008. The work will be performed in a concert entirely dedicated to the composer; it will also be possible to listen to the compositions An, quasi una serenata con la complicità di Schubert and Animato. The Tokyo Sinfonietta and the Ensemble Makrokosmos will be conducted by Yoichi Sugiyama.

On 29th August, always at Suntory Hall, is foreseen the world premiere of Reconnaissance for large orchestra, work commissioned by the Suntory Limited for the Suntory Hall International Program for Music Composition 2008. Yoichi Sugiyama will be at the head of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
