Luigi NonoMajor festival in London is dedicated to the composer and concludes with two performances of Prometeo.

The Southbank Centre together with the Royal Academy of Music is organising a festival in London from October 16th to November 1st that is dedicated to Luigi Nono and his city, Venice. The event will culminate in 2008 with two performances (February 29th and March 1st) of Prometeo, tragedia dell’ascolto at the Royal Festival Hall. Nono’s work will be performed by important soloists and ensembles (including Irvine Arditti, Alain Damiens, Barbara Hannigan, the London Sinfonietta, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the New London Consort, Maurizio Pollini, the Arditti Quartet, and the Westminster Cathedral Choir) in well-balanced programmes that include the music of composers such as Schoenberg, Maderna, Berg, Boulez, Kurtág, Dallapiccola, and Varèse.
