In Geneva on 4^th February (Maison de la Radio) the Vortex Ensemble will perform the world premiere of Emanuele Casale’s Teatrino di candele for percussion, guitar, violin and double bass. Casale has recently been appointed composer in residence at the America Academy in Rome, where he is currently writing a work based on the life of Noam Chomsky. The composer was awarded the 2009 Premio Nino Carloni.
